Programme Highlights

The course is designed to broaden knowledge of practicing engineers in relation to the latest Code of Practice (CoP) for the Electricity (Wiring) Regulation 2015 Edition and is useful for young engineers and practitioners who want to refresh / acquire updated knowledge in Electrical Design, Installation, Testing and Commissioning, Operations and Maintenance etc to the selected topics. All Guest Speakers, who are experienced practitioners / professional engineers from Contractors, Academia and Properties/ Facilities Management Professionals etc., will present you with some practical experience in major changes of CoP 2015 vs 2009 Edition and experience sharing with case studies.

A full course certificate will be issued to those who have applied for full course with attendance at least 6full sessions.

The maximum number of participants is 250. Priority will be given to members of BSOMES and practitioners of BS Operation and Maintenance industry and facility management sectors and Supporting Organizations. The deadline of application is on7 October 2016.Successful applicants will be confirmed via e-mail notification on or before 3 November 2016.Confirmation e-mail shall be presented at the registry of the venue entrance for verification.

If the applicants have not received the confirmation e-mail before 3 November 2016, their applications will be treated as not successful.

CPD Scheme for REW

This Seminar has been registered as Module 1 -Legislative and Safety Requirements& Module 2 -Technical Knowledge for Registered Electrical Workers (REW)as recognized Continuing Professional Development (CPD)Training by Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD).

BSOMES as a Recognized Training Organizer will submit the training records to EMSD direct after the Seminar. Training record submitted directly from REW, which is not found in our submitted record, is not accepted in general. REWs may check their CPD training record online. Please click to access to ‘Welcome to the Training Enquiry System’. Any dispute arising from this REW CPD training, the decision of EMSD shall be final and binding.


1) The early bird registration is subject to the receiving date of cheque with full payment registered.

2) The official receipt and admission ticket will be issued and e-mailed to you within 14working days once the cheque is received. Please bring along with the Admission Ticket for each corresponding session.

3) Registration fee(s) being paid is not refundable and not transferable.

4) No CPD Certificate will be awarded to individuals who arrive at venue after 7:30pm (more than half hour late) or leave earlier than 9:00pm (more than half hour early).

5) If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above / Black Rainstorm Warning is in force during class, or Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted within 2 hours before the class commences, any class already in progress will be dismissed immediately and imminent classes will be cancelled. As such, a make-up class will be arranged.

6) The organizer reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions without prior notice.

7) In case of any disputes, the decisions of the Organizer shall be final and conclusive.
