Being operation and maintenance practitioners, we play a vital role in assisting property owners to manage their buildings. In view of the enactment of the (PMSA) Property Management Services Ordinance, BSOMES has established a “Property and Facility Management” Stream (PFM) that focus on issues that related to property and facility management and it was endorsed in the previous EC meeting. 

Corporate members and Fellow members who are working in the property and facility management field and meet the required qualification are welcomed and encouraged to join the PFM under the below stages,

1)      From 1 April to 31 Dec 2021: application for Founding Members of PFM who fulfil the requirements as set out in the attached application form
2)      From 1 Jan 2022 and onward: application for Ordinary Members of PFM who fulfil the below requirements (Application form to be issued later)
a.       Holder of valid Corporate or Fellow BSOMES membership; and
b.       With at least 5 years property or facility management related working experience; and
c.       Degree holder of property or facility management related courses; and
d.       At least 5 years continuous professional development record (total 100 hours in 5 years and at least 10 hours every year)
