Dear Members,

The EMSD is now developing the Digital Log-books System for Lifts and Escalators (DLB), targeting roll-out by end of 2022, to progressively replace the conventional paper-bound log-books for lifts and escalators.  The DLB will facilitate responsible persons for lifts and escalators to record, manage and analyze lift and escalator works in real-time via a common electronic platform, in order to enhance the management and safety level of lifts and escalators.

The EMSD has just launched a thematic web page for the DLB, which can be browsed via the URLs given below.  The web page introduces the background, features, benefits as well as development of the DLB, and EMSD would update it whenever there is any new information / materials to be released.
